Paul Rudd was incredible in Idiot Brother and John C Reilly stole the show in Cedar Rapids. The trio of Bateman, Sudekis and Charlie Day was a refreshingly hilarious ensemble in Horrible Bosses. I liked Bridesmaids but I thought it was a tad overrated despite being liked by everyone, unlike 30 Minutes Or Less, which I thought was unfairly hated by everyone. And The Muppets was a great movie, but I wanted it to be funnier; it just needed more jokes, less sweetness and it would have been perfect.

Favorite Comic Book/Superhero Movies
Neither Thor nor Captain America were phenomenal movies, but both were good enough to keep my hopes up for this spring's Avengers movie. Likewise, X-Men wasn't amazing, but it was great to see a mutant movie that wasn't total horseshit. And Harry Potter was a great end to a great series. 'Nuff said.

Best of the Rest
Descendents and Young Adult were both sad but great. Clooney is too dreamy for his own good and Patton Oswalt deserves more recognition for his dramatic roles (especially in '09's Big Fan). I thought Rango's animation was better than Avatar's and the rest were just great, fun movies (except the rape scenes in Dragon Tattoo...nothing fun about that).

Full Disclosure: Still haven't seen Moneyball, The Ides Of March, Midnight In Paris, The Adventures Of Tintin, 50/50, The Sitter, Carnage and probably a dozen others I should have seen, but didn't.

Harry Potter is a comic book/superhero movie?
I would say that where the movies are concerned, the Harry Potter film franchise could be classified as such, yeah.
